What are some of the factors that led to your decision to enter the seminary and discern the question of a vocation to the priesthood?

Growing up in the parish has a lot of vocation is one of the parts to make me decide to follow the way of Jesus Christ. The beautiful sense from the priest, seminarians, and nun sisters in my parish makes me want to be like them. I believe God calls each people in each particular way, and I believe God starts my vocation life from these people.

Who are some of the people who influenced your decision to enter the seminary? What is it about them that assisted you?

Fr. Joseph is the first person to help me to recognize my vocation. He does tell me directly to follow God, but what he did for the parish, for each family in the parish, comfort me to follow Jesus. I want to be like him, a holy priest who loves God with all his heart and puts his life for God and His people. He taught us how to pray, how to move close to God, and how to keep God in our life. One thing special at him is to love Mary and love the poor. He did a great job in his mission to serve in the parish.

What would you say is the role of prayer in a seminarian's life and what effect does it have on one's ability to see God's call?

To have a deep prayer life is very significant for each people in the seminary. On the way to follow God, I may encounter many challenges, and prayers are the best way to help me get through these challenges and move close to God.

What advice would you give to a man who thinking about his vocation and is considering that God may be calling him to be a priest?

Jesus said: "Do not be afraid", these words I think is the best for each man to be ready to follow Jesus Christ. I am for sure not easy to follow God, but I believe that if we chose God and let Him to guild our life, we will be fine and always receive help from God.

What do you like most about being a seminarian?

I love being in the holy hour because this is the best time for me to be with God. Thanks Him for the many blessings He has done for me during the day; it is also the time to ask and talk with Him what I need his help.

What do you think is the greatest challenge facing a man who is considering the seminary?

I think the challenge for a man when they consider the seminary is that a man does know how the seminary is. They may be worried too much about loneliness. Nothing is impossible for God, so do not worry too much, God will step guild us step by step, and we will see and have a happy life with Him.

What are some of your hobbies or pastimes? What are some of the things you like to do in your "free" time?

In my leisure time, I enjoy singing, reading, and playing soccer. We will have a different program for groups hanging out together like hiking, walking, and playing sports during the seminary.

What do you think is the best way to encourage vocations to the priesthood in the Archdiocese of Boston?

I believe that prayer is the best way to encourage vocations to the priesthood. Before I apply to the Archdiocese of Boston, I have no idea how St. John's Seminary and the Archdiocese look like. Now I can confidently say that I have a happy life here. St. John's seminary will provide the best way to help each seminarian to become a holy priest of God in the future
